Reclaimed Window Coffeetable

Tempered glass windows are a wonderful find.

This one is a lovely 12-paned window that was tossed to the curb.

I used discarded bannister rails (from a friend’s backyard) for legs and framed the window with 1×3 pine boards.

I scraped away the red paint

Then I used Benjamin Moore “Twilight” to paint over the remaining red paint on the window and the cream-colored paint on the legs.

I used Minwax “red mahogany” on the exposed wood, and varnished the whole thing with Minwax wipe-on poly
